Example topics:
Internet of Women Things:

Technological developments should be accessible to everyone. Yet the internet and technology are still too often made by men for men. The Internet of Women Things explores what is possible when we democratize technology and base it on feminine values and needs.
The result is often more humane, sweeter, more social and protective; no technology that only helps itself further, but solves human problems and enriches personal lives. For example, women ask other questions about safety and health. They approach innovation from other values, such as shared knowledge, creativity, diversity, and inclusiveness. This way they prove that it can be done differently. Technology with a feminine edge is for all of us; for men,
women, children, illiterates, and animals. And we all win with that.
How can IoT devices change the experiences of women. Currently, most IoT objects are focussed on consumer device sales (often storing or selling our private data as a business model). How can we hack this set of technologies to better engage with the reality of women’s lives?

Cybercriminaliteit, hoe veilig ben jij?
IT beveiliging, hacks and cracks, digitale zelfverdediging:

History of Tech Art: - Class and Assignment developed for University Students
We learn from the past to understand the future.

Imagine that Vice/Motherboard/Dezeen is running a feature series on the history of new media art compared to new ideas and innovative artworks.

You, as a designer/maker, are asked to contribute a short blog / piece on one tech art / new media artwork   that you find interesting and make one (or more) future versions of it (pretend like it already exists).

- You have 3 options: write a story of 300-800 words, make 1 page comic or make a 1,5 - 4 minute video (and upload on YouTube or Vimeo #contexttechart4create) this can be a video with a slideshow.

- From the lectures or the archives below: Choose 1 new media / digital element you love most, show /  describe it briefly, and make a future version of it (you can describe your idea like it is already an existing piece).
With this you can predict the future of tech art. And you can also understand current media art works and where it is evolving towards.
If you have more ideas than 1, you can also choose to give several future examples, like things-to-do-with-Kuka-turntables, Cybernetics art, Kinetic art, Cyborg art, Robot art, etc.
